The Coletrain Transformation Station Inc. (CTS) is a nonprofit public benefit organization Located in Lake County, California. The Coletrain Transformation Station Inc. was founded by a family, in 2013 by Randall Cole and Kim Cole. CTS is a grass roots organization that provides a boots to the grounds direct services approach that is fueled by faith that individuals can transform and evolve with support. The Coletrain Transformation Station Inc. was created without any investors or funding but has currently expanded with the help of donations and grants from organizations, small businesses, and community members.
The mission of CTS is to assist individuals and prevent involvement in the criminal justice and juvenile justice systems by providing quality services to individuals and families battling substance use disorders, mental health impairments, and homelessness. CTS also helps improve job opportunities through workforce training, including CTS’ new Ambassador Program, created to increase self-sufficiency in vulnerable communities, while providing peer services that support recovery, stability, and long-term success.
Our goal is to reduce recidivism related to incarceration, homelessness, suicide, and trauma through peer-mentoring support, advocacy, case management, and job training. We provide quality peer-led services and programs that are deeply embedded in compassion, empathy, and a profound understanding of the complexities of trauma and maladaptive responsive behaviors. In essence, we see the person first; we do not believe that a person is defined by their circumstances, decisions, or personal battles.
CTS plans to increase The Impact of Positivity by working with law enforcement agencies to help increase community trust to lessen escalation of situations that can lead to individual crisis and ensure public safety through training, advocacy, and program services. In addition, CTS has assisted services to support vulnerable communities with severe trauma, for perpetrators and victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and crime by getting to the root of historical traumas that have been fueled by substance use.
CTS CEO, Randall Cole and many of our CTS Team of volunteers have lived experience, that reflect the populations that they serve, as a living testament that change can happen, with dedication, support, and transforming the perspective to I CAN.
